** Brand New Online Class – Pilates for Runners**
Tuesdays at 6:30pm (commences Tuesday 7th April)
£6.50 per session or £35 for 6 week block
This class is a 6 week course, taught by our experienced physiotherapist, APPI Pilates instructor and sports rehabilitation specialist – Abi Okell.
This course is great for anyone who is returning to running post injury/period of deconditioning, and for those who just want to improve their running performance. Key muscle groups and movement control patterns for efficient running performance will be addressed through the 6 week programme.
During this period of social distancing, especially now the gyms are closed, more and more people will be taking to running to deal with the mental as well as physical tolls of the COVID19 restrictions. Research shows that Pilates based conditioning exercises have benefits in terms of injury prevention as well as improving efficiency of running technique.
