afnCoActive Physio is delighted to welcome Claire to the team. A specialist Public Health Nutritionist, Claire will be delivering regular nutrition workshops from our clinic. We will be adding to the programme so keep an eye on the website and our social media platforms for updated information.

Eating well during pregnancy - FREE online workshops - Monday 22nd June 10am and Saturday 27th June 9:30am

Having a baby is an exciting time but it can also be an overwhelming experience. Eating healthily and understanding nutrition during pregnancy is especially important because the food you eat will provide nutrients to your baby.

There are so many things to consider and often information can be contradictory: do I need a supplement? Which one? What foods do I need to avoid? Do I need to eat for two? I am a vegetarian/vegan, how can I make sure I get all the nutrients I need during pregnancy?

This is a single one hour closed group session online for mums to be, if you are already pregnant or thinking about becoming pregnant. Come and find out everything you need to know for eating well during pregnancy.

There will also be time for questions to be answered at the end.

This is a ticketed event with limited spaces. Tickets are FREE.

Claire is offering her expertise and knowledge online in the form of private one to one nutrition consultations. If you would like to have an hour of Claire's time, discussing your own specific nutritional concerns and needs, then contact us for details and bookings.  The cost for these private consultations is £50 per hour session.

Introducing Solid Foods to Baby

img_7632Introducing solid foods, sometimes called complementary feeding or weaning, is an exciting, happy and fun experience to enjoy with babies from around 6 months of age, however often parents/carers can find it a daunting and often anxious time.

Whether you are considering baby lead or spoon fed (or both), have questions on when to start? Which foods first? What happens next? Which foods should be avoided? What about storing, reheating and cooking? Cups or beakers? Join us to ask and find out more.

This is a single one and a half hour small group session for new parents/ carers, with babies from 4 months and up to 12 months. Come and find out everything you need to know to get your baby started on solid foods.

£40 per person (please note there is a minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 per group)
